The Criminal Court Community Fund has been established to assist community partners in their collaborative efforts to support children, youth and families in Leeds-Grenville.
Funding is available to support projects that meet the objectives and criteria for the fund. These include:
- To contribute to the prevention of youth crime by addressing root causes
- To build collaborative community responses to issues impacting children, youth and their families
- To develop community responses that have impact beyond the duration of the project
By their collaborative processes funded applications serve to build communities in which every child and youth is safe, healthy, valued. Each funded application supports aspects of the following shared goals and carries out actions to achieve them:
- All babies have the best start possible.
- All children and youth are cared for and safe,
- All children are ready for school,All children and youth are successful at school,
- All children and youth are practicing safe and healthy behaviours and
- All youth are making successful transitions to adulthood.
